Event: Many Versions of Me

Create a mini comic book all about the different sides of you:public/private/past/present/future/thin/fat/dreamy/spotty/smooth/happy/sad/ changing hairstyles...

First, you’ll get inspired looking at some amazing graphic novels. Then you will be guided by graphic novelist Ottilie Hainsworth through fun art and story prompts, including collage and drawing, to open up your imagination and explore your many selves in comic form.

Art materials will be provided.

Ottilie Hainsworth graduated from Glasgow School of Art, and gained an MA RCA in illustration in 1994. She enjoys creating diary comics about her every day life, and her work is included in “Brighton-The Graphic Novel”. Ottilie’s first graphic novel “Talking to Gina” was published by Myriad Editions in September 2017. She runs her popular “Graphic Novels Real Life Stories” course at Phoenix Arts in Brighton, where she is based. Find out more about her work.
