Creative Examples

Many people have experienced gender-based violence more than once in their lives. We invite you to write these experiences as ‘fragments’ – in one or two sentences. You can write one or more than one.

Your story doesn’t have to be told in words. You might want to consider photographs, a comic, stitch or other creative response. Poetry and fiction counts, but so does writing the story in your own words as if you are telling a friend. You can see some examples of the different types of stories here.
